I hesitate to use my pictures on our marketing materials. Maybe that’s because I’ve seen the doodling done on Realtors’ pictures, and I’d rather not be defaced in that creative manner! The true reason is that I believe that your real estate transaction is about you—not about me. While it may help you to know a little bit about my qualifications and experience, still, bottom line, the only sale or purchase that matters here is yours.

I have been in the real estate industry since 1978, employed as general manager, then President of a small resort development company in the mid-west. I finished my corporate career as Vice President of a publicly traded resort development company. I hold a degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, and did graduate work there as well. For many years my husband and I were partners in a chain of 38 restaurants as well as several commercial Real Estate developments. I have been a real estate broker in Colorado since 1995, first in commercial, but found my niche in residential and started my own firm in 2001. I can relate—I’ve owned a lot of houses and have moved many, many times! I live and specialize in the Castle Rock area, and am supported by a highly effective professional staff.

After 8 years I left a career in the Biotech industry, passed the Colorado real estate exam, and joined the well-respected Stucy Realty Company in the business of Real Estate. The transition was exciting and quite natural, I imagine in part due to all the exposure growing up in a real estate family.

Now after over 10 years, I find my real estate career in high gear, and am applying the same energy, diligence, and care to this career as I always have to anything I pursue. Specializing in Douglas County and South Metro Denver has afforded me the opportunity to develop and maintain a great understanding of the market place, and the support of a highly effective, professional staff allows me to provide memorable customer service to our clients.

When my real estate day ends, I enjoy playing tennis, skiing the beautiful Colorado slopes, hiking with my spirited dogs, and traveling or just hanging out with my terrific husband, Roy, and amazing little boy, Scott. Okay, let’s be honest with a young one, most evenings are spent at home with the family, but we look for every opportunity to get out and do the fun things we love.

With significant experience in helping buyers and sellers meet their objectives – be it selling a home to relocate out of area or finding a great buy within walking distance of a desirable school – my goal is to make the process as fulfilling and painless for my clients as possible, while protecting their interests at all times. Be it negotiating on a client’s behalf or finding a special property for a buyer before it even goes on the market, I truly love what I do..
